Resetting a blackbox causes the blackbox to restart.

Reset a blackbox

A blackbox can be reset one at a time, by right click the mouse on the relevant ship in the ship overview screen and choose Reset blackbox from the pop-up menu. The following message appears to verify wheter you want to reset the blackbox:

If you want to reset the blackbox, click on Yes. If you do not want to reset the blackbox click Cancel or X to return to the ship overview screen. The following pop-up appears:

After clicking on Yes, a connection with the blackbox is being attempted. The following pop-up appears:

If succesfull, the blackbox will be reset. After closing the screen with X or No, resetting will be cancelled and the blackbox won't restart.

Note: if you would like to see the communication from and to the blackbox during the reset of it, you first have to open the Terminal screen.
