New software files are provided by Dekimo.

Note: Currently only .DCI files can be uploaded to a blackbox. In the future it will be possible to also upload a .bin file.

Upload software to a blackbox

Make sure you retrieved the last registrations from the blackbox, before you upload new software to it.

Software can be uploaded for one blackbox at a time, by right click the mouse on the relevant ship in the ship overview screen and choose Upload software to blackbox from the pop-up menu. The following pop-up appears:

To select a software file, click on the three dots and navigate to the correct folder. Double click on the desired file. The file will be selected and the CRC of the file will be calculated. The calculated CRC will be filled in as a hexadecimal number.

After clicking on Send, a connection with the blackbox is being attempted. If succesfull, new software will be uploaded.

Note: if you would like to see the communication from and to the blackbox during the software upload, you first have to open the Terminal screen.
