Presentation and service station

The presentation and service stations are the user interfaces for the blackbox systems on board of ships. The presentation station (BPS) is only a viewer, aimed at a monitoring organization. The service station (BSS) contains more extensive viewer options and the possibility to communicate with the blackboxes. The maintenance station (BMS) is similar to the service station, without containing position data about the ships.

Functionalities presentation and service stations

The stations contain basic functionalities which are described in the table below. Depending on the fleet or user, the exact functionalities may differ slightly. These differences are described on the specific pages.

Language

The standard available languages in the presentation and service station ​​are Dutch and English.

The language can be changed under Edit → Station settings.
