A shortcut to an external AIS tracking website is available from the service station. Currently this is Marinetraffic.

Open AIS tracking

From the ship overview screen the AIS tracking of one ship can be opened by hovering on the ship → right mouse click → Open in Marinetraffic. If multiple ships are selected, only the last selected ship will be opened in MarineTraffic.

The Marinetraffic website opens in the default browser to the search page, in which the ship code is automatically entered in the search bar and the results of the search are visible:

If there are several ships with the same ship code, they will all appear including the full name of the ship. To view the AIS data, click on the relevant ship under 'Result'.
